Clean Sweep - Tahitian Village

“Clean Sweep” is a quarterly event whereby residents of Pine Forest and Tahitian Village work together to pick up trash and discarded items in the neighborhood. Residents are also allowed to dispose of their own large items, excluding household trash.

Co-hosted by the Tahitian Village and Pine Forest Property Owners Associations (POAs), Clean Sweep is held the third Saturday of January, April, July and October from 8 am until 2 pm, with the exception of July, which is 7 am to 1 pm.

From 8 am until 2 pm on Clean Sweep Day, you can find dumpsters in the parking lot of the local Water District building at 106 Conference Drive (behind Walgreens). IDs are required to ensure you reside in Pine Forest or Tahitian Village.

Tires are now permitted for $4 each. Items allowed are metal, wood, plastic, furniture, yard waste and appliances including refrigerators, small motors and yard equipment, however fluids must be removed.

Items NOT allowed: hazardous materials, wet paint/paint containers, computers or televisions, car batteries and/or personal household trash.

Donations for our local animal shelter are happily accepted! Click for more information: Bastrop County, TX.

Bastrop County Household Hazardous Waste (BCHHW) Facility and Reuse Center

The BCHHW Facility schedules quarterly cleanup events and opens the Reuse Center throughout the year. Residents of Bastrop County may bring household hazardous waste using a voucher system. Community partners sustain the facility, which has been constructed through CAPCOG/TCEQ grant program.
